I'm high on sugar/chocolate right now. So I apologize for anything said in this post. I just had a Reese Cup Carmel candy bar, Heresys Fudge candy bar, and a scoop of triple chocolate ice cream, while drinking a Mountain Dew. All of this was done when I was supposed to be working out instead of going to the Dollar Theater to see Ice Age 2. I ended up sleeping through most the movie, too. So it was a complete waste of 50 cents. After our cheap movie we went next door to Baskin Robbins to get a dollar scoop. Tuesdays are awesome.
Work is going OK. Work makes me apathetic to life. For instance we almost died a few days ago while passing another car, while car pooling. I remember sitting in the back of the car as we got in the other lane to pass another car. I could see the headlights coming at us. I remember thinking hmm, this could be dangerous. Then, as we continued passing, I remember thinking. Oh crap, I wonder what will happen. Fortunately, the oncoming car got in the ditch and we had to get behind the car we were passing. So, not only did we almost die, but we didnt accomplish anything. The point of this story is the fact I wasnt worried this is what working America does to you.
Last week I saw the Eels. I think I already mentioned that. In fact, I may have already told the story above. Im loosing touch of reality. Crap. (Although I am supposed to give a detailed report this is to come Kyle. My laptop has ten minutes of battery left!)
Went to a movie tonight. I will be heading to Motinis with my China friends tonight.
Ive applied for jobs in San Francisco, Sacramento, Denver, Chicago, Boston, andBaltimore.
(But I decided I want to travel after school is out, anyway).
Going home Friday night back in Muncie on Saturday.
Going to Montana for Fourth of July. This crazy plan is going to happen. I have five days off.
I FINALLY BOUGHT TICKETS TO BOSTON!! FOR CRAIGS AND NATALIES WEDDING! my checking account is at an all time low.
A Robbie Williams song just came on my playlist. Crazy.

the rest the week...
I just accomplished my first week of work. It was rather fun. Since my boss reads this blog, I am going to focus on all the positive things about work. First, we get free donates as a perk for working at MCCOG. Its pretty sweet. I cant think of any one else who is as fortunate as me to receive these donates. In addition to getting donates, al the interns get to go out to lunch together. Last Friday Anderson had their annual Strawberry Festival. The interns and I obtained hot dogs at the roadside stand and went to the park to eat. This is where the Strawberry Festival was taking place. It was pretty cool.
Although, I become lame when I work: my life folds into nothing. I become apathetic to almost everything. For instance, our carpool almost dies last week when we attempted to pass a slow car. Unfortunately, there was another car already in the lame. It was nice and got into the ditch to let us pass, though. We never did pass that car. sucks.
Anyway, after work on Friday I headed to Indianapolis to see the Eels at the Vogue. I first went to Jens no wait. I first washed my car cause it needed it, and then I went to Jens. We head to Broadripple where we obtained tickets and watched the Eels. As always, it was pretty good. Randomly I ran into Nick from my original graduating class and his friend Kim. So we all hung out together after the Vogue turned into a dance club at 10pm (Im guessing most the Eels fans didnt hang around for this). So we walked around, found a drink or two, and then left around 1am. I still wanted to go to Muncie, so I drove fricken back to Muncie at 2am in the morning. I think I almost died.
So Im at the Blue Bottle. Im starting to do work today. Im a slacker. But not really. I do have a full time job. Seriously, that has to count for something.

Just random stuff
Some thoughts after getting back from China:
I need to leave the country at least every other year. You learn a lot when you are out of your place. Especially when no one can speak your language.
Since Ive been back, I cant talk about people in front of them. I.E. People selling something for a ridiculous price, or a crazy cab driver.
Speaking of cabs: Chinese cab drivers are crazy, but the one in Wuhan was probably the craziest.
I think I found a song to play at my wedding which wont happen for another decade, I decided.
Ball States campus has greatly improved since I got here six years ago. The new roads and extra landscape make it look actually nice.
I did nothing this weekend. In fact Ive taken two naps today. I think I deserve it.
Next weekend I am seeing the Eels. Then a week later its Margot and the Nuclear SoSos, again.
My friends are awesome. You meet really awesome people, sometimes.
Im applying for jobs. Geographic focuses: Boston, Denver, San Francisco, and Seattle.
But I decided that I should travel instead of getting a job after school.
I have Guinea Pigs in my apartment right now. In addition to a cat.
I need to go now.
